I spent half of my winter break with my Aunt Marifel, Uncle Ralph, and two cousins Maximillion and Alexander. Time with them always seems too short, and I find myself tearing up when it’s time to say goodbye.

One year.
Studying art in Florence, Italy at the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci. Living in an apartment or with a host family. Learning Italian. Restoring art work from ages past. Painting near the Duomo cathedral. Walking through the Uffizi.
